The president and the secretary – General of the federation are participating in the U.S.-Egypt Ports Infrastructure and Maritime Innovation Forum in Cairo.
Eng. Hassan Abdelaziz, President of the African Federation for Construction Contractors’ Associations (AFCCA), and H.E Amb. Hatem Tageldin, Secretary – General of the Federation, participated in the U.S.-Egypt Ports Infrastructure and Maritime Innovation Forum held in Cairo, on 23 August 2026, at the invitation of the U.S Embassy in Cairo and Mr. Manish Kothari, President of Sheladia Associates.INC and Vice President of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC).
The Forum reviewed the latest trends and innovative solutions in port infrastructure, maritime innovation, and logistics, bringing together a distinguished group of experts and representatives of specialized institutions and companies.
The Federation’s participation reflects its commitment to strengthening its presence at specialized international forums and expanding opportunities for cooperation and knowledge exchange in the fields of construction and infrastructure, thereby supporting development and partnership opportunities across Africa.
The Federation expressed its appreciation to the Embassy of the United States of America in Cairo and Mr. Manish Kothari for the kind invitation and warm hospitality.
