Participation of the President and Secretary General of the African Federation for Construction Contractors’ Associations in the Ramadan Suhoor Hosted by the Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association
Eng. Hassan Abdelaziz, President of the African Federation for Construction Contractors’ Associations (AFCCA), and Honorary President of both the Federation of Arab Contractors (FAC) and the Federation of Contractors from Islamic Countries (FOCIC), accompanied by Ambassador Hatem Tageldin, Secretary General of AFCCA, participated in the high-level Ramadan Suhoor hosted by the Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association (EABA) in Cairo, under the leadership of Dr. Yousrey Elsharkawi, Chairman of the Association.
The gathering was graced by the presence of H.E. Mr. Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, together with an esteemed diplomatic presence of African Ambassadors accredited to the Arab Republic of Egypt, senior representatives of Egyptian governmental institutions, members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, as well as an influential assembly of Egyptian and African business leaders and investors engaged in fostering economic partnerships and expanding cooperation across African markets.
The event constituted a distinguished platform for strategic dialogue and the exchange of perspectives on advancing Egypt–Africa economic relations, while emphasizing the pivotal role of the private sector as a key partner in supporting sustainable development, facilitating cross-border investments, and strengthening economic integration across the African continent.
On this occasion, Eng. Hassan Abdelaziz highlighted the strategic importance of such high-level engagements in reinforcing institutional connectivity between the African business community and development stakeholders. He further stressed their value in creating tangible partnership opportunities, supporting the expansion of Egyptian and African contractors into regional development and infrastructure projects, and advancing a shared vision aimed at promoting economic resilience, regional integration, and sustainable growth throughout Africa.
