Signing of a Cooperation Protocol between AFCCA and the Egyptian American Company for Industry and Engineering Works – STONE COAT

The African Federation for Construction Contractors’ Associations (AFCCA) signed a cooperation protocol with the Egyptian American Company for Industry and Engineering Works – STONE COAT, within the framework of strengthening collaboration with the private sector and supporting efforts to develop the construction sector.

The protocol was signed by Eng. Hassan Abdelaziz Hassan, President of the Federation, and Eng. Tarek Ghaly, President of the Company.

The signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Zakaria bin Abdul Rahman Al Abdul Qader, President of the Federation of Contractors in Islamic Countries, and Mr. Ahmed AlKhamis, General Manager of the Kuwaiti Contractors Union, both expressed their welcome for opening new avenues of cooperation between the African Federation and companies offering innovative and sustainable solutions for the construction sector, and conveyed their interest in exploring opportunities to utilize such products across Arab markets.

The protocoL aims to promote environmentally friendly products and materials, facilitate engagement with relevant partners, and support opportunities for professional cooperation, in alignment with the principles of corporate social responsibility and the orientation toward sustainable construction.

The protocol also reflects the commitment of both the Federation and STONE COAT to collaborate in building the capacities and training of African contractors, and enhancing their technical and institutional efficiency, in a manner that contributes to strengthening their role in achieving sustainable development across the African continent.
