The African Federation for Construction Contractors’ Associations Explores Prospects for Cooperation with Moharram & Partners

The headquarters of the African Federation for Construction Contractors’ Associations (AFCCA) in Cairo hosted a meeting between Eng. Hassan Abdelaziz, President of the Federation, and Ambassador Hatem Tageldin, Secretary-General of the Federation, with Mr. Moustafa H.Moharram, Chairman of Moharram & Partners Public Affairs and Strategic Communications.

The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Sherif El-Bidewy, Chief Executive Officer of the firm; Ambassador Ashraf Ibrahim, Managing Partner for Sub-Saharan Africa; and Ms.Habeeba Khattab, Director of Global Affairs, Public Policy, International Relations and Economics for the Middle East and North Africa at the firm.

Discussions focused on exchanging views on potential avenues of cooperation between the two sides, in light of the pivotal role played by the African Federation for Construction Contractors’ Associations as a continental platform bringing together national contractors’ associations across Africa. The Federation continues to work toward advancing the construction sector, strengthening the capacities and competitiveness of African contractors, and enhancing the contribution of this vital sector to the continent’s infrastructure development and sustainable growth efforts.

Both parties also reviewed opportunities to leverage the extensive expertise of Moharram & Partners in the fields of public policy, strategic communications, and partnership development, in a manner that supports the Federation’s efforts to expand its institutional network and strengthen its engagement with key regional and international stakeholders.

This meeting comes within the framework of the Federation’s ongoing strategy to deepen cooperation with specialized institutions and strategic partners, with the aim of supporting its programs and initiatives dedicated to advancing the construction and infrastructure sectors across Africa.
