The 20th General Assembly Meeting of the African Federation for Construction Contractors’ Associations (AFCCA)

Cairo – June 21, 2025

 

The 20th General Assembly meeting of the African Federation for Construction Contractors’ Associations (AFCCA) was held at the Federation’s headquarters in Cairo, headed by Eng. Hassan Abdel Aziz, President of the Federation, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, with the attendance of the African members of the Federation.

Representatives of Arab and Islamic contractors federations were also invited to attend, with the participation of the Chairman of the Federation of Contractors in Islamic Countries (FOCIC), Eng. Zakariya Abdulqader, the Secretary-General of the Federation of Arab Contractors (FAC), Eng. Hamdy Shehata, the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Construction Contractors Syndicate and Vice-President of the Federation of Arab Contractors, Mr. Sherif Wahbi, and the Secretary-General of the Kuwaiti Federation of Contractors, Eng. Dhari Al Barjas

It is worth mentioning that 19 national federations members of AFCCA participated in the meeting, representing Algeria, Ethiopia, Uganda, Benin, Tanzania, Togo, Rwanda, Chad, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Somalia, Ghana, Libya, Egypt, Morocco, Niger, Tunisia, Senegal, and the Comoros. A number of delegations were unable to participate this year due to the circumstances in the region, which resulted in the cancellation of some flights.
