The Federation seeks to achieve the goals, objectives and interests that benefit the general interest of its members, and works to protect and develop the contracting business profession in the African continent, develop it and increase its competitiveness.

He looks forward to achieving a comprehensive renaissance in the conditions of African contracting companies, enhancing cooperation on the level of transfer of expertise, and the use of Egyptian contracting companies to work in African countries, as well as African contracting companies obtaining the support of Egyptian entities in training workers in Africa.

In order to achieve these goals, the Federation works on the following:

1. Creating and developing professional relations between contractors in African countries, in order to develop and improve the contracting business sector at various levels to advance the profession and increase its competitiveness.
2. Defending the legitimate financial and moral rights of the African entrepreneur and seeking to expand the basis of common interests among the members.
3. Opening channels of communication and cooperation with contractors’ blocs around the world.
4. Connecting contractors’ federations in African countries through a comprehensive communication network and database that includes all data, studies and statistics that serve the profession.
5. Follow up the exchange of experiences and provide technical and administrative cadres.
6. Establishing unified rules for the rehabilitation and classification of African contractors by the Union, with the aim of ratification at both the national and international levels, for the selection of suitable African contractors to carry out works at the African and international levels, and seeking to standardize contract models and general conditions for contracting works in Africa.
7. Calling for the establishment and support of joint African design centers and houses of expertise and engineering to undertake the preparation of joint designs and specifications, especially with regard to projects with national and strategic characteristics.
8. Establishing training centers at the level of different professions that participate in contracting activities, in which the technical, administrative and negotiating capacities of cadres in African contracting companies are raised.
9. Striving to encourage African governments to conclude bilateral and multilateral agreements on the protection and support of African contracting companies.
10. Assuming the role of mediator between African contracting companies, taking the initiative to resolve differences and disputes that may arise between them, and searching for solutions and mechanisms that allow arbitration in disputes arising from various types of construction contracts in the countries of the African continent.
11. Encouraging and giving preference to African industries and the supply of building materials, and to use and invest in African capabilities and resources to reduce dependence on imports from outside the continent.
12. Seeking to find appropriate and effective mechanisms for providing financial support, including guarantees, credit facilities and loans to African construction companies.
13. Inviting African governments, funds and financial institutions to grant loans and assistance to implement development projects in the African continent and abroad to give a broader opportunity for African contractors to participate in the implementation of such projects.
14. Participation in the activities of international organizations concerned and related to the activity of construction work and an active presence in international circles and media.
15. Preparing and implementing media awareness campaigns that include all African countries that are members and non-members of the African Contractors federation (AFCCA) to publicize the importance and role of the federation at the level of the contracting business profession in the African continent.
