AFCCA Delegation visits Republic of COTE D’IVOIRE

With Some Egyptian Construction Companies,

13-18 March 2022

• In the frame of evaluation construction and building circumstances in the African countries , Eng. Hassan Abdel Aziz – President of the  AFRICAN FEDERATION FOR CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATIONS , and Ambassador. Ibrahim Elchouemi – the General  Secretary , and some Egyptian construction companies arrange a visit to the republic of COTE D’IVOIRE from 13- 18 March 2022, to discuss the situation of construction there.
• The delegation had meetings with: Minister of tourism, Minister of housing, Minister of health, Minister of Electricity and mines , Minister of investment , and a number of Ivoirians officials.
• It was clear that there are many touristic projects including: Hotels, touristic villages, villas, would be done by African construction companies.
• There is great chance for the African construction companies in building social housing units, and Partneriat with Ivoirian Government Implementation of buildings in different categories.
• There is chance also to build number of university hospitals with all specialties in different Governorates to facilitate the movement of citizens to have easy medical service.
• The Ivorian electricity authority has a plan to extend electricity to Ivorian country side, and increasing the solar energy capacity.
• All this projects need financing, some of it sharing with government or Ivorian Companies. There is investment grantee, and incentives including Tax free for some projects for five years and also for 10 years.
